Colonial Day Camp at the Joel Lane Museum House

when: Jun. 15, 2009 -  Jun 19, 2009

Twenty-four elementary-aged children attended the best day camp imaginable.  June 15 through 19, 2009, children in elementary school had the time of their lives from 9 am to 3 pm.  Boys and girls dressed in colonial clothes, ate colonial food (unless their parents packed a lunch for them), tried their hands at colonial crafts, carried water in a canvas bucket, and much more. Camp Directors, Tim and Renee Langdon, have many years of experience educating and entertaining children with lore about the 18th century.  Five days of camp cost $240.  A portion of the proceeds benefited the Joel Lane Museum House.
