Joel Lane Museum House’s Booth at Scout Jamboree

Staff and volunteers from Joel Lane Museum House manned a booth at the Scout Jamboree at the NC State Fairgrounds in Raleigh on Saturday, April 24. They met many excited Scouts and Scoutmasters who were very interested in learning about the early history of Raleigh and Wake County. Scouts were invited to come to the site for a tour and hands-on history experience designed to showcase the colonial era in an age-appropirate way. Many thanks to eveyone who helped to make the day possible and to the Scout leaders who invited us to attend!
