Visit Us at Celebrate NC History Festival Saturday, November 5, 2011

Don’t miss the Celebrate NC History Festival on Saturday, Nov. 5, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the NC Museum of History in Raleigh. This free event includes music, dance, storytellers, antique vehicles, craftspeople and re-enactors. Catch performances by the Red Clay Ramblers, The Chairmen of the Board and many others. The festival centers on the grand opening of the major exhibit The Story of North Carolina. Event sponsors are Progress Energy and Duke Energy. For details, visit

The Joel Lane Museum House will have a booth with hands-on history objects where you can test your knowledge of the 18th century, toys and games for the children, and our exclusive gift shop items for sale. The Museum is located at 5 East Edenton Street in downtown Raleigh.
